Is the YMCA of the Upper Pee Dee requiring masks?
Per State and CDC recommendations, we encourage anyone entering the facility to wear a mask, especially in common areas. However, masks are not required, and we are not suggesting that masks be worn during vigorous activity, exercise, or in instances where they may obstruct breathing.
What should I bring to work out?
We recommend that you bring a mask, workout towel, and filled water bottle.
While masks are not required, we encourage you to wear one whenever possible, especially in common areas where other members are present.
What safety protocols does the Y have in place to help protect against COVID-19?
Wipe Down Equipment
Our Y staff will be sanitizing equipment and high-touch areas regularly and deep cleaning the facilities. Please do your part by wiping down equipment before and after your workout with the provided disinfectant and sanitizer.
Wearing A Mask
While not required, the Y recommends that members wear their masks whenever possible, especially in common areas.
Child Watch is available at the Hartsville YMCA location for children ages 6 weeks - 10!
Reservations no longer required for lap swimming.
Our Group Exercise class sizes are limited. Class spaces are first-come, first-serve.
Stay Home if You're Sick
CDC and state guidelines encourage seniors and other vulnerable populations to stay home, but we also encourage anyone that feels ill to please stay at home.
